Key Responsibilities

  • 1.Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for web applications.
  • 2.Manual and Automated Testing: Identify and document bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
  • 3.Cross-Browser/Device Testing: Ensure web applications work across multiple browsers and devices.
  • 4.Performance and Load Testing: Assess scalability and stability under load.
  • 5.Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to verify bug fixes.
  • 6.Regression Testing: Ensure new code changes do not affect existing features.
  • 7.Test Automation: Maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and Cypress.
  • 8.Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test cases and scripts.
  • 9.UX Testing: Provide feedback on usability and accessibility.
  • 10.Continuous Improvement: Enhance QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • 1.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • 2.Experience: 2+ years in web QA with knowledge of web technologies.
  • 3.Skills: Proficiency in testing tools (Selenium, Cypress), web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • 4.Automation: Experience in writing automated test scripts.
  • 5.Attention to Detail: Strong focus on thorough testing.
  • 6.Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to identify and solve issues.
  • 7.Communication: Strong verbal and written skills.
  • 8.Team Collaboration: Effective teamwork with developers and designers.

Nice to Have

  • 1.Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • 2.Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • 3.SQL and database testing knowledge.
  • 4.API testing experience using Postman or SoapUI.
  • 5.Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
