Overview

The role involves assisting in the development and fine-tuning of NLP models for applications like text classification, sentiment analysis, and language translation, as well as training generative AI models for text generation and conversational agents. Responsibilities include data preprocessing, designing and evaluating experiments, deploying AI models into production, and staying updated on NLP and generative AI advancements. Candidates should have a recent degree in a relevant field, strong Python skills, familiarity with NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, SpaCy), and a basic understanding of machine learning. Preferred qualifications include experience with deep learning frameworks, generative models, cloud platforms, and project management tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Assist in developing and fine-tuning NLP models for various applications, such as text classification, sentiment analysis, and language translation.
  • 2. Participate in creating and training generative AI models, including those used for text generation and conversational agents.
  • 3. Conduct data preprocessing, including tokenization, vectorization, and data augmentation.
  • 4. Collaborate with the AI team to design experiments and evaluate model performance.
  • 5. Help with the deployment of AI models into production environments.
  • 6. Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in NLP and generative AI.
  • 7. Document processes, results, and findings for internal use and potential publication.

Qualifications

  • 1. Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
  • 2. Strong proficiency in Python programming.
  • 3. Familiarity with NLP libraries and frameworks such as NLTK, SpaCy, or Hugging Face Transformers.
  • 4. Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
  • 5. Experience with data preprocessing and analysis using Pandas, NumPy, etc.
  • 6. Passion for AI, with a particular interest in NLP and generative models.
  • 7. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • 8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have

  • 1. Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • 2. Experience with generative models like GPT, BERT, or similar architectures.
  • 3. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and version control (Git).
  • 4. Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
