Overview

AIV Studios is hiring a Web QA Engineer to develop and execute comprehensive test plans for web applications, ensuring high standards of functionality and performance. Responsibilities include manual and automated testing, cross-browser and cross-device testing, performance and load testing, and collaborating with development teams. The role involves creating and maintaining detailed documentation, evaluating user experience, and contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, 2 years of experience in web quality assurance, and proficiency with testing tools like Selenium and JIRA. Preferred qualifications include experience with CI/CD pipelines, performance testing tools, SQL, API testing, and Agile methodologies. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication are essential..

Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using PHP and React.
  • 2. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers.
  • 3. Build and integrate RESTful APIs.
  • 4. Design and maintain MySQL databases.
  • 5. Optimize code performance and manage version control with Git.
  • 6. Stay updated on technology trends and implement new tools.
  • 7. Write and deploy tests, ensuring code reliability.
  • 8. Maintain comprehensive documentation for ease of understanding.

Qualifications

  • 1.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • 2.3+ years as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on PHP and React.
  • 3.Proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, PHP (preferably Laravel or Symfony), MySQL, and Git.
  • 4.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

  • 1. Experience with modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony).
  • 2. Familiarity with additional frontend frameworks (Redux, Vue.js).
  • 3. Knowledge of server management and deployment (Docker, AWS).
  • 4. Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
  • 5. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and WordPress development.
